Question Thinking to much?

Wecoyote, thanks for the answer. I use a FOB now to start my truck, so do you mean that I have to leave a "key" at the alarm immoblerized to "fool" the system into thinking there is a key in or at the ignition? Many aftermarket alarm systems require the valet key to operate and they have the "loop" wire around the ignition switch that fools the system into thinking that a key is present in order for remote start to work. Maybe I am thinking too much on this one...

Viper and Clifford both make a data upgrade alarm. It arms/disarms thru the can bus data and gives you built in shock sensors, along with extra sensor ports. 3901V is part number. I have a few if anyone wants them $100 plus shipping
