Ya im also looking into getting a CAI soon if anyone has some additonal suggustions, money isnt a concern im looking for pure preformance mostly, but better mpg is always nice... wanna eventually add in a cat back and programmer to finish out the tuning

Coffee - CAI with a custom tune will get you 25 HP max. I saw an Airaid with a Diablo custom tune the other day on the dyno before and after. Good increase in the mid-range, better throttle response...but you're looking at a good $700 investment for those gains.

It's not all in the intake. Add an exhaust and a programmer and you can take full advantage of the additional air in.

Also, programmers will help you get your HP and Torque numbers higher at a lower RPM, making the truck a lot more responsive. It will also feel more powerful (which it is at lower RPM's) but you won't see huge gains in overall HP and Torque. But you can definitely tell you got more out of your mods.

I have the Volant. I chose it because it is a sealed design. Cooler, outside air is better (denser) than warm, underhood air. It fits great and you can tell that it is quality made.

Agree with that ^^^^ as I've had three Volant systems on prior vehicles and they are well made and work well.
