Default "Hidden" EVIC functions???

I searched around a bit but didn't find anything.... do the 09-10 Rams have the "hidden" or "easter egg" functions in the EVIC?

On my 09 Challenger there are a whole host of additional functions (including 0-60 timer, digital speedo, engine temps, etc) in the hidden or extended mode of the EVIC, which you access by holding the Compass and Music Note buttons on the steering wheel for several seconds.

I was just assuming that the ECMs have to be somewhat similar (though the EVIC displays are very different between my Ram and Challenger). Anyone know about this?

I've never played with the displays on the '09 trucks and have seen the LX platform displays. I think you are right that they should be similar between the cars and trucks.

Good luck! Maybe one of our '09 owners who have found out whether or not it exists will chime in here.

No, the trucks do not have the "engineering functions" that the LX/LC cars have.

That's a bummer. They come in handy from time to time.

Me too. Went from "All Right!' to "Well, Crap!" in about 10 seconds.

That it does my friend! Scott has put it too good use and I have put the "oh sh*t" bars and restraints to good use at the same time! I got the green popping bubbles around my face, needle-like tingles in my arms and extreme nauseousness when I ride with him on the 1/4 mile times.....So now I drive, well, while he isn't home!
