its 180 degree thermostat i found it on amazon i was thinking bout getting the jet thermostat but its like $30 somethin an this one i found is $15

That's a nice price. Mr. Gasket company used to put out some good stuff. I think the name remains but the company was purchased some years ago.

A 180 degree tstat is a good idea for the summer months.

ya thankfully its bout to rain hopefully its cooled off. there are alot of good deals on amazon for parts go check it out wish it had headlight assemblys though i want some new ones

I'm not sure if it's the same thermostat thats used in my 6.1 . If it is I picked it up at NAPA for $5.00 . I think the part number was 191 . If your interested let me know and I'll verify it for ya .
