Wally... Thanks. Do you have Nav system? Does it download all your contacts etc? Also do you play music off your phone like an ipod through your system? Finally does your system charge your phone if hooked up to the Ipod connector?

Thanks again for your reply.

I had U-Connect in my '08, never had a problem with it. The wife has U-Connect in her Challenger (also had it in her '07 Charger). Neither of us have had any trouble with connecting and staying connected.

When I was using a Motorola Razor I couldn't download the contacts (I was told that the phone didn't support that feature), but the LG enV3 that we've got now has had no troubles.

I would think any phone that has the "newer" blue tooth should work out fine for you.

good luck

Exco

this is my guess as well.

My current Blackberry 9700 works great with it, and i have also paired a motorola flip phone as well (has second priority, so it won't work if my BB is in my car)

My old Curve worked as well. My mygig is an 08 model with 09-10 software

worse comes to worse, buy the phone, go sit out in your truck and spend the 30 seconds to pair it and test it out!

i know! I love that feature! I was concerned that I'd have to put all my contacts in the radio...but thankfully no.

I don't have Nav in my ram..but I use an LGRumor in my Ram and it connects fine...But only if the signal is very strong..I connect it through bluetooth w/o any wiring. LOVE it...when it works it works great but often I have to repeat myself. It does download the contacts...but not realizing I could download them...I had already put most of them in manually LOL

CustomShirts

I have the RES Radio, no NAV or Touch Screen. It has uConnect with the iPod cable to the glove compartment. My iPod rides there for my music. It does charge the iPod. I generally just shuffle all songs, so, have not played with any more control other than on/off. My contacts were DLd from the iPhone 3GS. So, basically, I use both the iPhone and the iPod in my truck. Hope this helps.

As promised I stopped by the dealer today. The list of phones on the Dodge site under the "owner" link is the most current list of compatible phones.

Thanks Root Beer. My dealer is a moron. They said just about any phone should work. That's the answer I got. I looked at the guy called him a moron and walked out.
