Default performance parts and warranty

I have a 2008 ram TRX4 with a hemi and I`m looking at getting some edlebrock headers, flowmaster exhaust and a vararam intake. The dealership tells me that any performance parts , even exhaust, will void my warranty. I know lots of people have made performance upgrades and I`m just wondering if anyone has had any problems with damage done to the drivetrain due to the extra horsepower? I don`t think I have anything to worry about but I just want to make sure since I still have 3 years left on my warranty. I`m also planning on a bullydog triple dog gt tuner.

You can install pretty much anything, and UNLESS IT CAUSES THE FAILURE it can not void the warranty by being present. Now, a tuner is a sure fire way to void your drivetrain warranty... if it's found Exhaust, intake, headers... don't take the vehicle out of factory specs

...just tell them" Magnussen Act"...they have to prove that the particular part caused the warranty problem... also, don't do Bullydog, either Superchips (if lightly modded) or Diablo if you're gonna cam it..

So what`s wrong with bullydog? I picked them because I want to be able to adjust my power settings and I need to be able to change my tire size and I don`t think Banks makes one for my truck yet.

it's not so much whats wrong with Bullydog but how much more advanced Superchips and Diablo are in comparison. They spend more time with R an D as well as have more tranny control (an that's big in the ram community)...you can actually adjust shift points at part throttle based on how hard you lay into the pedal... none of the REALLY fast trucks are using a Bullydog...

So I went on the superchips website and looked at the cortex programmer. I`m thinking of maybe getting it since it will warranty my drivetrain for 2 years. Once I reprogram the factory computer can I plug the cortex back in to make changes to my tire size. I`m gonna have 33`s for summer and 31`s for winter because the town I live in doesn`t plow the roads on weekends in the winter so alot of the time there`s a few inches of snow to drive through.
