SEE.... it wasn't just me, the Ford belongs to my buddy, who knows this field. he was stuck as well, but never made it as far in as me. this was the next morning.
this was the next day as well, but later on. we got his ford out and another friends Ford was used as an anchor for winching.
and this was 2 more days later. AFTER 2, 3/4 ton tow trucks failed to get me out, 1 wasn't 4x4 and was useless, the other was 4x4 and he broke both winch lines.
2 of the wheels were frozen and wouldn't turn, truck was caked in mud.
this was a day after the 20 ton truck came and got her out of the muck. i spent a day with a tiger torch and a stove pipe trying to free the wheels. i got 1 free but the other was 200% worse and i gave up. it was cold. If you look at the front wheel you can see a line, that was the freeze line.
20$ at the car wash and most of the mud was off. im still finding pockets of mud as it hasn't warmed up enough for me to crawl under and clean her properly, but getting there.
towtruck/flatdeck cost= $316
cost to get a broken speed sensor replaced, diffs cleaned out and refilled with synthetic, front left brakes cleaned of mud = $546
lesson learned=DAMN YES....until next time
