I bought into the same notion when I first bought my truck because i didn't know any better when I had the flow 50's installed. But after really researching the forums, figuring out the guys who really knew their chit when it comes to hemi ram performance, I realized that the common denominator was that none of them run flows..

i needed a custom tune for my cam setup. altho I could get it to run on any of the canned tunes, it's a night an day difference when tuned correctly (especially at part throttle)

I'm also looking to get some more power outta the HEMI!

I'm looking at which cat-back system to get right now, and from what you all have said and what I've read on each products respected websites, I think the magnaflow is better quality wise... The entire thing is all stainless steel and they have a lifetime warranty, which is pretty rare nowadays in the american mechanical world. Besides the Magnaflow sounds awesome and looks really sick!

I'm looking at the single side stock exit position for the Magnaflow.

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=all&id=2960
Part Num: 16696

Also, there are 2 different kinds of exhaust for the same setup, one for a solid front axle and one for independent, I'm not sure which one I have but mines a 4x4 and I think that means I have a solid front axle.

Another question I have is I see that the exhaust system is held together by clamps, and is there any advantage to welding the pieces together for more strength or w/e? I'm pretty sure it wont make a bit of difference, but just thought I'd ask.

And for performance aspect I've heard of people switching to an electric fan for the main radiator over using the stock fan that runs off the engines crankshaft (if thats what its called)
