Default Exhaust

I currently hav e the flowmaster 50 series muffler on my truck and want something with a little more roar to it. I was told the 40 series flows might not have enough back pressure for the engine and could possibly trow an engine code. Does anyone know of a good loud exhaust that wont throw the check engine light on? I havent been on in a while so I'll post some pics of my truck.

I was going to say look at the 40 series, I've heard of a couple trucks with that setup and no problems. But check YouTube for some sound clips on other exhausts.

I have been and the only other one I like is the corsa but I'm not really sure I wanna spend that much on it. I was thinking about the 40 series, they guy that put on the muffler I have now said that some of these trucks dont have any problems but he has had a couple that the light came on in.

Not sure what light he's referring to (maybe the Check Engine Light?) and what code it would throw but as long as your O2 sensors are put back in, you should have no problem with a series 40. What some folks forget it that you can't go too large on pipe size from front to back. If you are only replacing the muffler and have the stock pipes to the front and back, you won't lose any low end torque. At least you won't lose any such that you'd notice any loss.

It was the check engine light he was talking about. Im not sure what the code would be either. I'll let you know what I get, Im leaning towards the 40 series. I've always love the sound of flows.
