(It will not void the warranty, it does not modify any factory part. Remove it and all functionality will go back to stock)
It also has a feature to disable it. No one will know it's installed untill you enable it again.

I had one on my Nitro and did the following mod. Buy a cheap $40 digital TV tuner and plug that to the aux of the Lockpick and you then have local TV!

If you are using both a front/baby cam and rear camera, you will have to run the wire from the lockpick to your rear camera per the instructions - at least with 2010 RAM 3500. I discovered this when i did my recent install. It seems the rear camera is always supplied power when the vehicle is on (from the existing dodge harness). Thus, when I put on the front camera, the rear camera was also still on causing both signals to mix and a create a useless image on the screen. I had to run the wire and connect it to the rear camera power to let the lockpick turn off the rear camera when you turn on the front camera. The hardest part is snaking the wire from the dash back to the tailgate. When I opened the tailgate, it was very easy to see the red power lead coming out of the tailgate camera and cut it away from the original harness and hook it to the power lead from the lockpick.

Wow, Thanks for convincing me to not install a front camera. Some mods aren't worth the effort. (Can that be?)

Thanks for that writeup, now I know I gotta have my friend who works at Best Buy (doing installs) to do it for me! Also, do you have a pic of where you installed the front camera?

for that I was lazy. The front cam you can buy with the lockpick (from coastal tech) has 2 screw holes that match the holes in the license plate so i just mounted it on the top of the license plate. Works fine - 2 minute install.

Thanks guys. I am installing all of this on Tuesday. This is some great info. I got excited there for a second thinking that I would not need to run the power to the rear camera, but alas, the front camera is worth it to me.
