Default anti-spin/limited slip rear axle

Are these the same on the 2001 Ram? The original window sticker said
truck equipped with anti-spin, but the owners manual when talking gear
oil states limited slip oil with additive. Anti-spin/limited slip same/same?

One and the same. Various names are sure-grip, posi-traction, limited slip, trac-loc...so many to choose from.

Thanks man, do they make the gear oil with the additive already in it for the anti-spin axels? Thanks again

Not that I'm aware of. You'll need 4 ounces of additive for the 9.25 diff.

They are a tad different on 2001+, the carrier bearings are larger. If you were purchasing a used one your original bearings may not fit if you were going to re use them.
