Default Can this brilliant feature be turned off?

Press and hold the unlock button two times on the key fob and the front windows automatically roll down. This "feature" seems to work quite well, including when the raised unlock button is accidentally pressed while in my pocket. The button is raised up enough that when the fob is in the front pocket of my jeans and I sit down, there is enough pressure against it to activate the unlock switch, even when it's raining outside.

Is there a way to disable the remote window open feature?

I don't think that it's possible. someone else may jump in though.

You might wish to try contacting the service department of your local dealer, if it's possible, it's likely there where you'll need to get it done

good luck

Lightbulb

You have to press that button twice and on the second press hold it down. Perhaps there is a stray signal from somewhere else or someone has the second remote and is messing with you, LOL......

Oh and there is another post on here about this, check out http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=58297

Simple solution I had to use as my Truck and Car both would start up for the same reason, keys in front pocket. When you come in the house put your keys on a table, desk or some other place so you get used to doing it. Same thing for the wallet as it is a pain in the a&s to sit on, literally.

Haven't done that since I sold my Honda Ridgeline...

Actually I realized the problem was due to playing guitar with my keys in my front pocket. Now I just take off my pants while playing guitar..problem solved!
