You should be happy your key fob works so well. Mine wont unlock when I am standing next to the drivers door 85% of the time.

Yes mine did this to me the other day. I don't think you can turn it off though. But I will watch the post to see if anyone has a solution.

Try replacing the battery. I had a key fob for my old mercury sable that barely worked like that ... until I pulled it appart and swapped the battery. Problem solved.

they have had a lot of fobs that dont work they are under warenty had to replace mine . took a while cause they have a lot of them comming back .

they ordered me a new key fob, so will see if that fixes it, then get the other key fob replaced. I have had the key fobs checked though with their tester and they work at full strength.

Theres a flash for the win module for 2010 that deals with intermittent RKE function don't know if that would help might mention it to the dealer...

I recently had over 10k in stuff stolen from my vehicle because the doors unlocked when I threw the fob and my pocket change into a bowl on the dresser. I just discussed this with the dealer service writer today and he suggested that I leave the fob in the truck and use the door key from the fob to carry with me. I took the other fob that my wife carries in her purse and put it in a small plastic box to avoid any chance of hers causing the same problem
