Default Problems from being parked 2 years

Ok guys hoping you can help me. I have been driving my mazda MX6 for 2 years becuase I had a really long commute to work and wanted to save gas. While I drove it my Dodge was just parked. Before you go nuts, no I didn't do anything with it, it just sat there with an empty gas tank and no battery for two years.

Now, my Mazda is no longer usable so Im going back to my truck, but its been sitting for 2 years and wont start now. I put 4 gals of gas in it. and got some quick start spray as well as put a new battery in it. It turn's over but won't start. If I pour 1 cup of gas into the throttle body it starts and runs for about 10 secs then dies.

I have been told it could be the fuel pump is bad or the fuel filter has collapsed. If you have other ideas I would love to hear them. To get the right fuel pump i need to know what size fuel tank i have. I really don't know if i have a 34 35 or 26 gal tank. Its a 99 dodge ram sport Extended cab (with the suicide doors for back seat) with 318 gas engine. Is there a way i can look at VIN number or some label I can find that will tell me what size tank i have so I can get the right pump if need be.

Thanks alot in advance.
Chris

You can't pull the options with the VIN but I can. I'll need the last 8 of the VIN and the mileage.

You have the 26 gallon tank. If you want a copy of the build sheet, e-mail me at Remerson228@comcast.net

Sounds like a fuel problem . Try banging on the bottom side of the gas tank and see if it'll start . More than likely you'll need to replace the fuel pump .
