Default Homemade air intake

Just put this together. i left the stock piece that connects to the throttlebody on just so i didnt have to fab a new mounting spot fer the sensor. i bloked the inlets on the inside so its just like a 90 degree pipe.

Let me no what u think, or what u think i should do diffrent.
good/bad replys, doesnt matter to me, just wanna know what people do diffrent, and what thier thinkin!

Thanks!

Looks great to me. Have you considered bringing the new tube straight to the throttle body. Get rid of the rubber tube and plastic cover?

im with Tom... remove accordion restriction tubing and add a straight pipe you will see more difference... also you can port out the throttle body with a dremel and then polish for some serious airflow... and add a heat shield if possible for maximum efficiency Just my 2cents. lol... haven't even begun mine yet. :/

thanks fer the info guys!
thats a good idea to use straight pipe instead of the accordion.
the port and polish is somethin i never even thought of.
and the only reason i keep the plastic cover is because it has the mounting hole for the sensor. but yea ill probly remove that eventually also.
thanks again guys!=]
