Default Goodyear Wrangler HP Stock 20" Tires Scalloping

Anyone having this issue?
Mine are REAL bad on the front outside and they are wearing the same way, but not as bad, on the rear?
I have a leveling kit but had an alignment done soon after
Perhaps still a bit to much positive camber on the front?
Maybe factory specs are incorrect?
Soon putting some BFG All Terrain T/A on and want to get this fixed up first.....I don't want to ruin $1800can 285/65/20 tires LOL
Maybe its just the "cheap" thin factory tires IDK

If your alignment is right (and I suspect it is), chalk it up to the Wrangler HP's being absolute garbage. I don't think I've ever seen anyone on here say a good word about them. BFG's are great tires and will last a very long time with proper care.

Until now...

I havent had any trouble with any of em. I am on my third set @ 112k. While I am sure there are tons of tires that are better, I like the Wranglers.

But at the same time, I am very anal about PM on all my vehicles, including rotation and proper PSI. I figure averaging 50k per set is not too shabby, and the ride is not bad either.

Does this make me the black sheep?

It may very well. I wonder what's different about your truck because I don't think I've ever seen a set of the HP's wear like they should on a Ram. Got any idea what your alignment specs are? You're right on about keeping the tires maintained; no tire will last if neglected.

Guess that's gonna make me a black sheep as well as I haven't had a problem out of my stock wranglers, either, so yeah Jared, you echoed my opinion, too. I keep my maintenance up as well and no issues with ride quality. I better not be jinxing myself here lol, but if I can get 50K out of my set like I was told I should so long as I take care of them, I will only look to replace them when it's time to.

I have no clue what my alignment specs are, but I do know I have them rotated at oil change intervals (6k, I run RP)

I haven't seen the same issues with the 17's as the 20's. I've seen 20's start wearing unevenly in as little as 3k miles. We checked the alignment and it's right on the money. This makes me wonder if the settings on Jareds truck are different from factory specs.
