Default Check this hood out

Since my hood has been dented twice in the last year by falling tree limbs(responsible trees coming down in 2 weeks) I'm considering relacing the hood instead of repairing. I found this one and it looks really nice. My question is do you think this is a good price and decent looking quality? I have no experience with fiberglass hoods, and don't know of any drawbacks if any. Next question is what should I expect to pay to have this painted at a shop? I can probably install it on the truck after painted, with the help of neighbors. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

It looks good to me. The only company I have any real experience with though, is Harwood. The price of this one makes me think there must be some quality in it though.

I'd contact the seller and find out where the "ram air" dumps out at. Some companies make them dump out right on top of the CAI if you have one, which is a good thing.

I definately like the looks..........Not to eager on the fiber glass. I have had a few bad experiences trying to get things to fit......Metal is alot easier to me, Price isnt bad.JMO..............

Thanks guys, it does seen pretty reasonable to me. I emailed the seller a few questions, and then need to check on the cost of painting it. One of my buddies works for BASF and has access to their paint booths and everything else. So I am going to pester him a bit to see if he would paint it for me. He has done some nice paintwork on his daughters car, and his bikes.

Very nice hood. I want to get that hood once I get the funds. Let me know the sellers response to the questions and how it all works out for you. Looking forward to seeing the final product on your truck!
