Ya I may buy the predator for my truck. Im hoping it will help as the stock tune sucks. Ive noticed that after putting on the Volant intake the truck seems to bog down. I think it has always done that its just that you actually hear it now not feel it in your foot.

Im hoping it will fix that problem and also the lack of a good shift tune that I currently have. My problem is im so used to a sports car that the truck seems so laggy and blah to me.

If I do buy one Ill do a write up on it for everyone tho. I might put in the order now for it. I might get the tuner and a truxx level kit first. Then next pay or so check ill do the rims and tires. Then maybe a different muffler and then ill be done for awhile.

Does anyone know if it will have the ability to turn on fog lights and stuff like that. I noticed online that the bully dog can do stuff that only the dealer could do before. I didnt know if the diablosport could do that or not(doesnt mention it online).

No, it is not a scan tool based tool and will not turn on fog lights or add other functions similar to that.

It will make a difference in the truck's performance, however.

Do you have a CAI now?

Ya I have a Volant intake I put on idk 3 months ago. Love the sound of it...looks great; but not happy about the whole bogging down thing. I might still buy the tuner even tho it isnt a scan tool. I really liked that the bullydog one would change fog light to high beam and stuff like that. Im going to add fog lights with HIDs and didnt want to have to take it to the dealer but I guess Ill have to anyway. Bullydog doesnt handle my year tho. Its a shame because there are alot of us pre 08's out there. There were alot of 06 and 07 truck sales compared to 08. Oh well.

The Predator can read codes and clear them so in one way, it is a scan tool. You can also log engine operating parameters. There are tunes available by email. Johan at DiabloSport does them, as does Bob at SVS.com. They can tell you what to log, you do that, extract the logs from the Predator and send them to the tuner. They email you back a tune that you load on the Predator, then you load it on your vehicle.

It's a great way to fine tune your truck!

LOL...well, all I can say is I really like my Predator tools. I have them loaded on my CSRT8 and my Ram. They hold up to 5 tunes (including your stock tune) so that's some flexibility right there. It's not tune change on the fly but it doesn't take long to load one up.

I initially said Insight, but the actual name is Intune, coming soon from Diablosport for all platforms.

The greatest thing about this unit, you can purchase separate licenses for totally different vehicles and only have to have 1 handheld.

So basically, you can tune your Ram, Challenger, Escalade, and Ferrari in one unit.

Looks like an Iphone to me...

Theres an app for that
