Question CAI questions

This might be dumb but i wanna put a CAI in my 2010 1500 but i also wanna put my 3" body lift in this weekend. before i buy the CAI i wanna make sure it will work. any thoughts. Thnx Griff

A body lift and CAI have nothing to do with each other. The CAI will take 30 minutes and the body lift could take all day. Make sure you post pics when you are done. Now is the time to take pics of the before. LOL

Default 2010 RAM come with CAI?

In recent discussins I think it was determined (could be wrong) that the 2010 essentially comes with a CAI stock as it draws air from the wheel well area outside the engine compartment? Might not need to purchase the CAI - maybe just a high flow K&N filter. True?

No worries...the CAI will sit where it sits regardless of whether or not the truck is lifted.

With a body lift, a cai like the airaid or volant won't line up with the factory fender air duct after a body lift is installed.
