I went through the same thing with my 09 hemi ram. I chose the Magnaflow because it's made from 409 stainless unlike the flowmaster thats made from mild steel and will rust stainless doesn't thats where the price difference is and i got another suggestion for don't buy diablo programmer go with superchips I have one and it works great I had a diablo on my charger that i had and it ruined my tranny.

If it were my choice I'd go with the Magna flow just because of the muffler being made out of stainless steel .

IMO, whatever system you get, save yourself some cash in the long run and make sure it is a stainless steel system...Pay a little more now instead of having to kick out money every time you have to replace the tailpipes because they are rusted out at the bend where they go over the axle...I had a 97 1500 and put a flow catback on it...had to replace the muffler and the tailpipes 3 times in 12 years....If I had gone with stainless from the start I more than likely would not have had to ever replace them..

GO STAINLESS

I've had both on different vehicles. I like the sound of a flowmaster better. But, I have a magnaflow on my Ram because I was scared of the drone with the flowmaster. And I've read where the magnaflow flows better.

I've had both on the same vehicle but not a truck. The Flowmasters are heavier louder and more prone to corrosion. The Magnaflows had a crisper sharper tone that I liked better, I guess you could call them raspier. I'd go for Magnaflows in a heartbeat.
