Default debadging?!?

I have been considering debadging my truck. its got the slt, 4x4, ram 1500, and dodge badges. I was gonna get rid of the slt and ram 1500 badges. What do you guys think would look best? I'd like to keep the 4x4 badge and move it, but i dont know if it'll stick back on right. Thanks

You'll need some double sided sticky tape to put it back on as removing it, and considering how long it's been on the truck, will break down the adhesive.

I totally debadged mine and the only Ram emblem on the truck now is the one in the middle of the grille.

If you are going to de-badge your 2002 just remember the paint behind the badges may look factory fresh and it may a little noticeable due to sun fading. After you debadge you may want to use some 3M scratch and swirl remover to try to get an even color look, but still there may be a bit of color difference depending on the color of your truck.

Just take em off, remove the glue and see. That's all you can do, if you do have fade or something, all you have wasted is time, and some new 3m double sided tape.
Good Luck!

At least with the fresh paint underneath the badge , you'll know where they go when you put them back on .

Very funny, Tom!

Sometimes a good cleaning, buff out and wax removes the dirt lines and blends the clear up very well. It will bring the paint back to the right color.

Consider using a clay bar on the truck first.

I was actually considering using a clay bar. I was gonna do my big clean and wax tomorrow and i saw a video on a clay bar that made me wanna get one. I'm also going to try and find the turtle wax black box and see how well it gets rid of (or just covers up) swirl marks on my truck
