There's only one bank I try not to use the drive thru, I get to close for comfort.

There is also a parking garage that I will never park in again, I drove up to it and and it didn't look like my truck would fit, the guy said no it will, I just had a Ram drive through. As I pulled in the top of the truck was hitting the bumper on the roof, after the entrance I think I had literally like 1 inch of ceiling height, if there would have been a speed bump inside my roof would have been scratched to all hell.

Funny, I was just at the bank drive through and I barely fit. Then I went to Taco Bell and rubbed one of the tires on the curb....

I fold my right mirror when I pull out of my garage.

I have to fold one to get in my garage. I fold both just to make it easy. My wife bought the house before we were married, and eight foot doors served her great, then I showed up, and nothing about the garage is big enough.

I have to fold my mirrors in for just about every close-call situation. Now if I could learn to shorten my truck, I just might fit in a lot more places!

I heard the 2011 will have a power folding mirror opinion. I hope that is true, and it can be added to my 2010. I haven't found an aftermarket option either.

Yeah I found out the hard way backing out of my garage the other morning. Needless to say even the slightest bit of contact to the mirror when it's -21 outside will crack the back molding right off.

Does anyone know of a tutorial on replacing the side mirror for a 2010 1500? Havent been able to find a good one yet.

I do it every day, when I pull into my garage to park. Truck fits just fine, but to get it into a standard garage door opening one must "think skinny".

A colleague has a Ford that automatically folds both mirrors when you turn it off. That's nice but I rarely park that close to something to really miss that function. I'm too concerned about dinging the door! Every once in a while I'll park too close to the shrubs here at work and have to fold the mirror to get by but not often.
