Did you have the factory duals before the 24" muflex?
Any cabin drone?

I think there is a some drone at low rpm under load. Other than that no. it is not snappy like the shorter mufflers, just throaty. My wife did not notice a difference. Yes I did have the factory duals for about 300km and I have about 300 km on the new muffler. It is still burning out. I did not want a loud truck, just a nice deep tone and that is what i got. If you are worried about it do what i did. I got the muffler place to tilt the magnaflow muffler to match the factory pattern of the exhaust pipe and keep old connections. I kept my factory muffler and can bolt it back on if I decide one day I dont like the sound. I was skeptical too, but not no more.

Hey Sean, thanks for the info. That sounds like what I'm looking for. Is the 24" a straight thru design like the shorter ones?

Yes and no. It is one to two but you can see light through the muffler. I saw the muffler before it went on. When i look through my factory there is not much light. I took some pics of the muffler, you can see how they added some pieces onto the muffler to match up to the factory pipes. I looked at the truck on the hoist and the factory muffler sticks down from the frame about half inch and this is the same with the magnaflow because they tilted it.

It does sound great. I'm installing my 18" on my 2011 with Volant CAI combo tomorrow. Can't wait to hear it.

I did the same. I got the 12579 22 inch body and love the tone. Here is some pics of the inside of the factory muffler I cut open. I have neighbors and leave the house early at time and I cant stand drone and this one fits the bill and has that low growl just the way I wanted. Not loud and I'm 50 so gotta have something not too loud.

I put my 18" on yesterday, sounds great. Even better when driving.

That sounds good. That is the same exhaust that I just got on my 2010 and I love it. I actually wanted to go louder, but the guy that did the work talked me out of it. I am glad he did, because the drone while the MDS is on is kind of annoying. The predator should fix that though.
