Default factory sirus radio work with alpine h/u?

So like the title says.. I'm wanting to put an alpine h/u in my truck (it is satillite radio ready) but not sure if ill loose the sirus radio. I don't want to loose the raio of couse so if it won't work what will I need to get for it to work? Thanks guys

I can tell you the sirius sat. tuner is made into the factory radio the sat ant. just plugs into the back but I'm sure you could still use the factory ant..

I would be interested in know if the connections are the same...

I would assume not since companies make money on integrating the satellite radio technology into their own "blackbox" and using connections that fit their application.

I did some research and found a link online in a different forum with some PIN out detail and pictures...
