Default 2010 Dodge Ram 5.7 quad cab wind noise back right passenger area

I purchased my 2010 Ram 1500 about 30 days ago. Love the truck (my first truck ever) and has already been to the shop because the right side step came loose due to incorrect size bolts..(crazy). Now, I have this crazy wind noise in the quad cab that is in the back right rear passenger corner.

This all started after I rolled down my windows and was welcomed by the overpressure helicopter sound that about popped my ears..lol..the slight wind noise has increased 10x in the past week. Now, after 50 mph is bothers me, above 70 it is down right driving me crazy. Makes me want to go faster, slam on the breaks and power slide (but I know this wont fix the problem).

Anyone else have the same problem in the same area?

Welcome to the Z. We LOVE pics of Rams.

Here's how to post them: http://www.ramforumz.com/forumdisplay.php?f=73

I haven't had the problem. We have a lot of knowledgeable people here, I'm sure someone with the answer will come along.

Sounds to me like you have a seal that's out of place.

I just bought a 2010 RAM Bighorn SLT Quad Cab 4x4 and have the wind noise too. It's starts around 70mph if I press the recirculate knob it goes away. If you do 85+ it will be there no matter what.

Mine is great. I've had it up to 105mph, and no wind noise.
I have to agree with RamTech. I think there must be a seal out of place.

i know what you are talking about. when i have my drivers window open and then open the back passenger it sounds like a jet engine is running next to the window. mine only does it when that window is open. its not any seals i checked them seems to be the way the wind hits that window frame or somthing. cause when you close the window it goes away.

UPDATE:

I have had my truck in the shop for the third time for the same noise. If I put painters tape over the area, the sound goes away. The second time in the shop they replaced the seals, two days later, started back up.
Today the dealership stated they noticed if the AC is off, no noise. Once the air is turned on, the wind noise starts again, as low as 40mph. Seems there is a problem with positive air pressure and defective frame for the seal and window. If you look at the bottom left and right corners of the rear window, where the bottom should be straight all the way across, the corners dip around 1mm on my truck. This is causing the seal to open up while under positive pressure.

For me in Texas, three times a charm then I can file a lemon law. I'm putting this into effect next week for a new truck.
