For fear of sounding stupid, which I am going to any how...

1. What is a throttle body spacer, will I need one with this AFE unit?
2. Is there anything I need to change when installing the CAI? Like, well, if you gonna do this then you have to do this.....
3. Do I have to worry about the elements seeping into my intake and fouling up my truck? I have heard water, mud, and other debris can get in there easier.

TBS is not needed
Most see no improvements

If you buy a Stage 2 aFe intake everything is included

I purchased the 5 layered oiled filter kit instead of 2 layer dry kit
I prefer the oiled filters

When that puppy starts sucking major air at WOT there is definitely an improvement in sound.

Good price. Its not a true CAI in that it is not enclosed and does not get its air from outside the engine compartment. The AFE stage 1 is the better of the two in my opinion.
