Ah damn man, pinched it? That blows. If you decide to put a muffler on it, go magnaflow. 3 inch piping, mine is still stock lol. Also I have the headers if your going for my sound.


I did another 0-60. Still about a high 7, low 8. What I should do is like a 0-80. The truck really does not lose much acceleration till 3rd gear.

Wouldn't want to see you lose your truck, haha. And if you do decide to do it, try to make a mount or atleast tape it down somewhere, it's a pain to hold it and then try to pay attention to the road and hold the wheel lol.

I'll probably be sticking with the Flowmaster 40s I have (they're brand new and still okay...lol).

But, from the manifolds back I'm going with 3" true duals with an x-pipe and two flowmaster 40 mufflers, exiting out the corners like they are now.

Right now I have 2-1/4" pipe, true dual with the stock downpipes and no crossover, and it sounds like crap, but, its because the pipe is too small (I like the tinny sound which doesn't exist), and there's no crossover...so...to be changed.

Headers are definitley in the future...not sure when though, as everyone I've ever talked to about these engines say, the only really restrictive thing about the exhaust on the magnum motors is the actual piping...the manifolds supposedly flow pretty well. Its the intake side that kills them.

So...I may address that by forcing some air down its throat...

oh, did I say that out loud.

Boy you ain't kidding, these R/T's are slow as sin.

I tried taping a quick spurt getting onto interstate earlier, that camera is all over the place. Will try again on the way home tonight.
