Default Got a squeak.

I hopped in my truck today to go wash it and i had the window down and noticed a higher pitched squeak/grinding noise(almost the same sound as squeaky brakes). The noise didnt change when i turned the wheels and it stopped when the truck stopped.I am wondering if it is a wheel bearing, anyways I was just curious if any of you guys had any insight into this issue.

Either a bearing or one of your disc brake pads is dragging, a sure sign that the slide pins in the caliper are stuck.

Far to often when people do brakes, they don't lube those slide pins.

Wheel bearing would be more of a rumbling noise . Not high pitched

Check u-joints. I had one last week making a pronounced squeaking noise along with a vibration. Replaced the rear and all is well.
