Default Loose mirror....

The rear view outside lirro flops toward the cab at highway speed and is a pain in the butt. Is there anyway to snug it up aside from a total replacement? I have seen some Indy Rams with chrome mirrors and mine are black....maybe they were replaced?
Thanks in advance gang!

I've never had this happen nor have I hever seen the internals of a mirror assembly. Unfortunately, I believe it comes down to replacing the whole thing, or possibly gluing your mirror in place at the pivot point, though you won't be able to flip it in again!

I'm not familiar with that particular mirror's construction. Does the whole assy flop towards the door or just the glass mirror portion?
