Spray lube the hinges and latches would be my first choice.

if they are stuck closed, i had the same issue after the truck had sat for several weeks. i tried to spray from the inside while the door was closed, but even after sitting for a day, it still would not open. i had to use my feet from the inside. thought it was going to break something, but the door opened. then lots of lube, and do so every oil change since.

Glad I found this thread, was just going to ask. My driver side rear half door is stuck shut, tried lube, and ZOOM, going to try a block of wood and a hammer tomorrow.

Got them open.I guess they were stuck from lack of use.I PB blasted the heck out of them.Let them sit for a few days and had my brother pull the handles while I gave them a few sharp boots with my foot. While I had them open I took the bottom latch off and took a wire brush to them and lubed them with grease. They work great now.Open very easy now.

Glad to hear it. If all else fails, get a bigger hammer.

I had this problem with my 98 1500. pb blaster is only a temporary fix. the only real way to fix the problem is replace the latch. hope this helps.
