Unhappy I don't know what to do! Please Help!

So my 5.2L is still reving in 3rd and fourth, i've ruled out the transmission because I tampered with the intake and it stopped for a while, but now its back. So it revs approx. 400-500 rpm when im driving on the highway but only happens when i push off the throttle or lay off. Im completely stumped, i cleaned the throttle body and removed my throttle body spacer and it worked awesome for about 200km highway but then on my way up to work it started again. It couldn't be the MAF or the TPS (throttle positioning sensor) right? So im guessing that the Idle air control is moving in and out like its broken or something, even though it idles fine. I and so fed up with it! Does anyone know or have any ideas? ive talked to four mechanics and they can't figure it out and are going to charge me $900! Please Help!

How can they charge you $900.00 and they can't figure it out ? Can you post a video ? I'm not real sure what you've got going on .

they wanted to take a look at everything and charge me $900. Basically it revs while im driving on the highway going 100km/h (65m/h) ill be keeping my foot on the pedal at a constant speed no hills or inclines and when i drive over a bump or anything bumpy enough to make my foot move on the pedal at all my motor will rev up from 1800rpm to about 2100rpm for a second and then back to normal. it also happens when i lift my foot off the pedal or push harder but only at these speeds or in 3rd or 4th gears.

Dodge doesn't use MAF, they use MAP.

Sounds like the engine rpm is flaring when the converter is unlocking.

well i thought originally that was hapening until i cleaned the TB and took the spacer out and it stopped for a while, so im thinking it has to be a sensor on the thing, unless it could be a o 2 sensor? ive heard other people having the same problems caused be that (but on other vehicles). Even tho i am showing no codes...

I'm thinking more along the lines of an IAC or TPS issue.

okay thanks, im going to test my MAP with a vacuum gun while its on the highway. How would you test the IAC? And the TPS without having to take it out?
