Default traction control vs anti spin??

I need some clarification on this. I am looking to buy a 2010 hemi 4x4 crew cab. One has the 3.55 gears the other 3.92 gears. I understand the ratio but don't understand the difference between anti-spin and traction control any help would be appreiciated.

Anti spin may be the rear having a positraction unit in it .

Traction control is the electronic control of the system .

with the possi, you get two wheel peel instead of just one. the 3.92 gears are used more for towing or hauling as the 3.55 are the standard gears that all the 10 rams have, unless upgraded.
so if you plan on towing or hauling, i would recommend the 3.92, which is what i have in my truck.

like tom said, traction control is run by the computer and it senses when the rear wheel are spinning or not gripping the road. when it does the computer sends signals to one of the rear wheels and applies the break to regain traction. the 2010 also has a button in the cab that can be pressed to turn off the traction control. this is just a very quick explanation and in my words is what i have read. If i were you, i would read up on it, very easily googled like i did.

hope this helps ya out alil more

Anti-spin is the posi unit in the rear diff. Traction control is electronic and works through the ABS and ETC.
