Here in Omaha NE I get the choice of 87, 89 with 10% Ethanol and 92 or 93. Which should I be using?

I use 87 all the time. I tried a couple tanks of 93, made a weird sound at start up and surged at WOT.

From Inside Automotive-- These guys were first to call BS to MTBE. You modern car with a computer will run fine on 87. Your manufacture has advertised a HP and milage figure that was obtained using 93 . So they must recommend using 93. They have tested most performance cars on 87 and it's about a 10 hp drop. You will never know it. They say run 87 and don't switch around often so your computer is not constantly trying to adjust..
