I run 2 hemi s a 2010 and a 2011 they both get 91 every fill and have since new. I'm in construction and pull a towable boom lift and 18 cargo construction trailer a 20 enclosed car hauler and a small 6X10 tandem dump trailer. So these truck get put to work everyday day in and day out. I'm not abusing them but premium fuel is all they drink. I a few dollars extra more a tank but when I'm not pulling a trailer the 10 with 355 gears and all stock consistently get 11.3 or 25 miles per gallon.

I run premium in my 10 and 11 neither truck has ever had 87 octane in them. I feel I get better mileage when empty, even tho I do construction and have 4 different trailers I haul around ranging from 2200 lbs to 9000lbs and my truck pull good with the 91

I've got 612 miles on my 2013 Ram Big Horn and all I've used so far is 87 octane WITHOUT ethanol.

I just traded my 11 ram 1500 w/4.7 for a 13 ram outdoorsman QC w 5.7 & 3:92 L.S. All I can say is wow what a difference. I have tried 87 and 93 octane I notice quite a difference in performance between the 2. I have a theory maybe someone else is thinking the same, power programers are a waste of money just like "cold air intakes" I believe the factory ECM adjust the timing based on octane just as much as a $500 programer will on their 93 octane setting. I do recognize the fact that they are useful if you need to read codes calibrate for larger dia. tires or change you shift calibration. I have searched for a side by side unbiased comparison but have found nothing. wouldnt you think there would be something on youtube if they were the real deal? I see they have proven cold air intakes to be hogwash lets see how programmers work.

89 and then I'll switch to 87 a tank or two.

Phillips 100% gas and shell gas. Unless kum&go is a lot cheaper I'll get that.

I run 87 from the local velaro. Every 4 or 5 fil up I run 93 from a shell. I average 11.1 on 87 in and 11.4 with 93. My truck doesn't seem to like the 93 all that much so I think I will just run the 87.
