ok so i been keeping u guys posted on the probs with my 04 hemi with a random misfire. well dodge has had it all week now and they cant find out y its doin this all they can say is its misfiring on all cylinders randomly.. no sh*t thats wat i told them when i dropped it there.. so the bad fuel is outta the question now and they ran a fuel injection cleaning 3 times which btw i didnt tell them they can do so im not payin for it so they told me today they called a dodge tech support or something and are waiting for a call back from them so thats all i have for now guys when and if they finally fix this thing ill repost with what they found

Look on the bright side, your fuel system should be nice and clean!!! As for what could cause this, maybe the ecu??? just a guess and a far fetched one at that. Good luck with it

Well as for a fuel filter I don't believe there is an external one just the intergrated one with the pump and as for the ecm or pcm maybe its bad or has a bad ground idk they r supposed to be the experts but they have horrible cust service at this dealer ill never use them again I gotta call them they don't call me its horrible and they did the fuel service which I never authorized I wanted a repair estimate only cuz I might do it myself depending on wat was wrong

I'd pull the valve covers and check for a broken spring. It's fairly common with the first gen 5.7.

Would that make noise and would it cause all the cylinders to misfire randomly?

so all my bitching got me a free loaner car since my truck still isnt fixed i guess we can take that as a start in the right direction.. as for status on my truck i got " we didnt look at it today " this place is a joke

sucks. if had something simular a few times on customers cars, one was a bad fuel pump that only acted up once in a while and the other was a coil packs that are faulty
