Unhappy Hello all- newbie from michigan

this is my first post. I need some help please. I have a 1998 ram that has a professionally rebuilt shortblock. I have been putting this truck together for about a year. I am at the end of the build and i cannot get this thing to idle without my foot floored. and it will only run for about 45 seconds. It will restart everytime, All sensors are new and check out good, no codes. all wiring checks out good, plenty of fuel preesure at the rail, new fuel pump, gas tank, coil, wires cap rotor. you get the picture, I am no slouch when it comes to wrenchin', but this thing has got me stumped, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Z. You sure you got #1 to TDC when you put the distributor in? Sounds like a timing problem is why I ask.

We have a lot of forums for all kinds of topics, so you shouldn't have any problems finding a place to post questions.

We LOVE pics of Rams.

Here's how to post them: http://www.ramforumz.com/forumdisplay.php?f=73
