Pretty simple set up to make this happen. Do you have a 2wd or a 4x4? If it's a 2wd, then get the 2/4 kit you want; if it's 4x4, then the ground force kit is the only one I've found for the 4x4, hense why I have one on my 3rd gen 4wd.

As for the towing capacity, you can get a set of helper air bags installed between the leafsprings and the frame. There are several kits to choose from, I have a firestone bag kit in my work truck and I put major loads into my 1-ton. You can get kits that have an on-board compressor or ones that can be filled at a gas station.

Generally speaking - No
I guess anything is doable though.

Yeah, but if you haul you'll be frame notching and possibly helper bags. I haul a boat a lot and a car occasionally and w/o bags I'd drag the back end everywhere due to leaf squat.

When you cut out a section of frame directly above the axle so it gains clearance and doesn't hit the frame. You reinforce it w/ a "notch kit" and its as strong as stock. I did mine in the driveway in an hour on my back. Simple, just time consuming.

I have a 2/4 kit for my 2010 coming in the mail any day now. Does this mean i won't be able to pull anything? I'm just confused if i would run into any problems, or if i should look into the helper bags, which i don't have any money for? Thanks.

I have a 2/4 drop on my 09 and I can't support much weight in the back. The springs are very weak and I am continuously bottoming out. I tried airshocks as a quick fix and it helps but not enough.

I am now looking into rear bags (replacing the coils). This is going to cost some money but from what I hear it is the best ride you can get.

Helper bags like the firestone ones which go in the coil are not for lowered trucks. I heard they help but not sure how much.
