Default rattle when closing rear doors..

Hi gang,

Again just going thru a few growing pains with the new Ram.

I notice when closing either rear door I get a rattle noise which sounds like it is coming from behind the rear seats....probably something simple but thought I would post just in case. Will try and trace it better today.

Any thoughts..

Musky

Musky,

Not trying to be a smart a$$. Is there anything in the door pockets or under the seat that is rattling? I have the locking chrome lock nuts and they rattled in the bag under the seat.

Another thought..Is your third seatbelt under the seat and rattling?

HI RainmanX,

No problem....it appears the rattle happens only when the back slide window is partly open?

I tried it last night with window closed (no rattle) window partly open (rattle).

Anyone else experience this one?

Thanks Musky

It's the cabin pressure relief vent in the beck wall of the cab. Normal operation.

I hadn't thought of that, but it's entierly plausible.
