Still trying to work that out. If I can swing that Mopar intake in the classifieds, then it will be all good... Time to start getting serious for Gatty.

Here's a few snapshots this morning:

Thanks guys! I do plan on suspension work, but I don't know what direction it will be going in just yet. Definitely down... but as far as how I reach that goal... stay tuned

Nice job!! A mod to look forward to doing. How hard are the insert to get out of the hood?

Thanks

Not too bad. You just have to be careful not to scratch the paint. There is a clip that is accessed under the hood, then you will see where it snaps and pops out of the hood.

I want 4/6, the 4 up front is doable, just don't know how to get 6 without cutting a spring or a custom spring! And the 4 link setup would have to change....SUCK!!

This is awesome looking! I was thinking about doing the same thing the other day so I figured that I would jump on here to see if anyone had done something similar and had any recommendations and lo and behold! I only have one concern about it...have you had any problem with excessive water getting into the engine bay?

Glad you asked! I actually popped the hood this morning (because it is raining here) and after driving home for 30 minutes, there is absolutely no water on the motor anywhere. However... those of you with CAI that are not enclosed, might not want to try this.

The stock airbox was covered with water.

But that won't be a problem for the next trick up my sleeve

Hmmmm....that's no good! I have a K&N CAI and it's an open air system. It's kind of funny that the rest of the engine bay has no water around it....I wonder if it's because the air box is kinda-sorta next to that inlet? Did you notice any water on or around the battery and fuse box as well because you would think that you would if this were the case. I may just have to wait and see what this trick up your sleeve is! I hate copying people and their ideas but I certainly don't want to start sucking water in through my CAI!
