factory ones, like stated above, keep honest people honest. and you can go into any auto parts store and buy a key to remove them. there are better ones out there.

you can go into any auto parts store and buy a wheel lock remover. factory ones aren't worth a damn.

I used to work for a major tire company, and all we used was a socket the fit over the outside of the lock, a baby sledge to wedge the socket on there and off the lock came. In other words, they only slow someone down...a little.

I guess that is why the chrome lug nuts always look the way they do after you have new tires put on.

I usually recommend Gorilla Lock sets, they work great. Not sure of the part numbers for the Ram.

If I am ever feeling brazen enough to steal some new wheels, I'll go for some REAL chrome ones... not the "chrome-clad" plastic covered ones we have....

...Then again, thanks to your picture we now know where live... Instead of worrying about the lock on your wheels you should be worrying about the lock on your garage door!!

Around here they steal anything they can get their hands on. The Ram wheels go fast in the DFW area if you don't take precautions. I know a guy who has had 2 sets stolen in the same month.

They are just as good as most you will find, Any lock will only keep an honest person out.
