The center channel isn't "required"... but definitely helps. Have you looked at the MS-8 by JBL? It would allow you to keep the factory speakers and also give you a subwoofer output.
no alpine package.

No i dont know anything abou the MS-8, is that different then the amp setup?

Oh yes sir. The MS-8 is a whole different animal.

If you don't have the Alpine, then you actually shouldn't have a center channel. Just the two 3.5" dash speakers on each corner, and then four 6x9" in the doors.

I must be confused then.. I thought I had the 4 doors 6X9s, a 3.5 center and 2 tweeters in the corners..

my dash looks like it has a place for the center speaker, i guess its just empty?

Yes sir, it isn't difficult to check just to be sure. You just need to pry up on that center piece, but be careful not to damage it or the dash.

Alrigh thanks, I'm going to keep looking also, I'd like something that is nice a clean, but also I'd like for it to get loud.

i need some advice from some of you guys who have been there before.

I have a kicker 12" cvt slim mount sub in my truck.and ive already blown it trying to push to much power to it.

Cheapest would be buy another $100 slim mount sub and put it back in my box, but then im stuck with 1 shallow mount 12. Im sure ill find myself wanting more after i find out it only takes 400watts.(got about 12 hours of driving over the first week with it around 1000 watts to it, sounded great till it bottomed out, now sounds like shit)

im not even sure if i could fit anything else(2 12''s under the rear seat are out since my mono block is mounted under the rear driver seat)

do i wait and try and get an impossible to get si bm mkiii? or try and find a way to fit a 15?
