Hi I have a 2011 1/2 ton and I wanted to take the factory subbox out and rePlace it with the box I have from my old truck.... The bassworx underseat style from my 08 will fit but because the new truck came from the factory it has clips instead of regular speaker wire! Can I get some sort of adaptor or do I have to run wires right from the back of my deck!! I wanna keep the stock nav unit! Anything u can tell me would b greatly appreciated thanks

Just see if the clip can be removed. It's still speaker wire under that.

Thumbs down Install REC Nav Radio in 2009 Ram2500

I'd like to upgrade the audio system in my 2009 Ram 2500 from the 6 CD regular radio to the REC Nav radio. What harness adaptors and other auxillary parts are required to do this sucessfully?? If anyone has the P/N's for these parts that would be greatly appreciated. Lastly, any special problems I need to be aware of??

Thanks in advance,
ED

Going from one factory setup to another factory setup is never something I would consider as an "upgrade" You can get much better sound for much cheaper going aftermarket.

I agree with that ^^^^ as I've tried factory upgrades in the two MOPARs I own and they both have, or will have, received a second upgrade using aftermarket gear. The factory "upgrades" aren't all that good.

Okay so I am ready for some BASS!!!

I have a 10" JL w7 and I just bought a JL 500/1 amp(still waiting for it to come in though)

So my question for y'all is should I build a ported box or a sealed box? Thanks guys.
