Hi i am losing my mind on my nav radio install on my 09 sport crew with the alpine system.i have a kenwood dnx6160,metra axxess harness and aswc steering wheel control box.made the mods to inner dash and hooked everything up.worked awesome just sounds horrible was fading front to back on its own.the sound was distorted and the volume has to be up pretty much all the way to here it.i was reading the axxess stuff maybe is not that great and i should have gotten the pac harness instead.all i want is for it to sound a little better or exactly like stock.anybody ever run into this.any answers would help my headache.thanks

All I can say is that I've only used PacAudio harnesses and never had a problem. It could be the Metra but I don't know enough about how you wired things up to definitely call it the root cause.

It seems to me the metra kit is no good.how did the pac harness sound after u wired it.like stock or better.does not make sense that the stock radio sounds way better, just hooked up the speakers to the rca wires provided with the metra kit.

The PacAudio harness just passes signals through. So sound quality is dependent on your components, not that harness.

So, since I have a nice JL 4 ch amp and some Hertz HSK 165.2 2-way component speakers, mine sounds just fine.

Default Bed Box???

2000 Dodge Ram Quad Cab. I need some information on upgrading to a Bed Box! I have 2 12" Memphis 3 Subs and there is no way they would fit in an under seat box. I have the 1100 Watt memphis D Class Amp. I basically need info on getting the rubber boot and other information you may find necessary. I don't want to use the cabin because I now have a newborn and a 6 year old child and need the seat space.

Default Touchscreen radio question

I have a 2009 ram with the REN radio (no GPS). When I'm using the HDD, turn the truck off, come back the next day, it does not pick up right where I was. If I'm using the cd player, the next time I get in and turn it on, it starts at the beginning of the cd instead of where I left off. I have the RES (with GPS) in my jeep and it does these things. Is this supposed to happen? It doesn't make sense that it would start at the beginning of the cd or not pick up where I left off on the HDD. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix? Thanks.

Hey guys! So here's my situation I have a 10w6v2 in a JL sealed enclosure. JL says the box is .625 cb, th under seat enclosure for the quad cab says it's .5 cb. My question is will it still hit hard? Also I was looking into a kicker 10IX500.1 to push would that be a good option? I would be running the JL at 2ohm. Thanks
