I have done it before. I had the Infinity system. It worked just fine but the amps (stock infinity & kicker accessory 77KICKAB18) are pretty wimpy.

Check out my Ram Mods thread and scroll through it. You'll see where I replaced the dash speakers (super easy) and the door speakers (pretty easy) but the amp took a bit of time if you want to tackle that too.

The speaker change out is super easy.

Ok Great! Thank You. I dont really want to change the amp, just replace the speakers. Im sure it is a definite upgrade over stock. Just looking for some good sound not over the top. How did you think it sounded? here is the ebay link just want to make sure I get the correct parts it had a AB after the part number you gave me. The dealer said it would be a few weeks before they could get it.
Thank You Again! http://www.ebay.com/itm/330635759771...ht_3303wt_1002

I have an 06 srt10 with the rec navi radio. As you may know the radio has no aux or USB hookup. How can I add them to this radio?

I'm a little confused on which JL Cleansweep I'm gonna need.

for now i'm gonna keep the factory radio. in the future i plan to upgrade to the factory nav unit.

i'm gonna replace all the door speakers w/ aftermarket.
also gonna add a fox box.
everything will be powered from a 5ch amp for now.
i'm also gonna run all new wire to the doors.

i just need to know what i need between the factory head unit and the amp.

CL-RLC
CL-SSI
CL-SES
CL-441dsp

thanks

I think you need the CL-441DSP and the CL-SSI. Call your local JL dealer and ask to make sure.

looks like i can just use the CL-441dsp. would i just split the rear output to get my signal for the sub amp?

http://mediacdn.shopatron.com/media/...pdf?1316036532

-OR-

just the CL-SSI with 3 of these Kicker ZISL (09ZISL)?

I believe that you need the SSI to get the full range of 3 signals. These trucks do not have full range going through just one speaker.
