Is it better to use front or rear speakers for line input on aftermarket amplifier? Or is there some RCA outs on the head unit? I have the infinity system that has sat radio and 6 disc changer and the overhead dvd system

Got a couple questions for you audio experts. OK so I decide to upgrade everything except the head unit for now and this is what I did. First my truck is a 2010 ram with the mygig (non nav) and standard 6 speaker system. I had an older but still functioning amp that I decided to use, it's a 600.1 rockford fosgate. I changed all 6 speakers to infinity kappa's/and reference speakers but using the stock amp for the 2 dash speakers only the other 4 are ran with my amp. I also added a 12 " image dynamics sub in a supercrew console box (standard cab truck). So I install everything including the pac audio C2A-CHY2. I will also add that for the sub signal I just split the front channel rca's using rca splitter cables. I'm getting some noise when I turn up the volume from the right rear speaker but I can get it to come and go by playing with the volume knob. Also did I do this correctly? Everything sounds ok but I expected much better. I'm thinking that this pac unit may be most of the issue and understand that a new head unit would eliminate most issues but can I do something else?

Yes the kappas in the rear are 2ohm, the front door speakers are 4 ohm and the dash speakers running off the head unit are 2 ohm, also the sub is dual 4 ohm wired in parallel for 2 ohm. I also noticed that when I switch the amp to 4 channel mode instead of 6 the speakers sound much better but then of course the sub is almost non existent . Was splitting the front channel for my sub signal using rca cable splitter the way to go?

I am wanting to put 3 JLTW5-3 into an 2003 quad cab. Has anyone done this I am hoping someone has so I can build a box for them. I know I'm pushing the limits and may have to mod the back seat but any help would be great

As long as you lowpassed the sub off of the amp or external crossover you will be fine..

You are wanting all 3 under the rear seat? You can put two under there and the third in a console box..
