Well i searched this form for information about Line output converters, but still have a question.

I want to instal an amp (1000 watt?) + 1 sub into a 2007 dodge ram 2 door. From the looks of im going to need a LOC since i want to keep my head unit. My question is what kind should i get? (Not looking to spend a to much)
After looking around i found:
Pac SNI-35
Pac LC-2
Both seem to be good and liked by other ppl?

Also how would i hook it up exactly? i know i would tap into a speaker wire but other then that im not to sure.

On my '12 with the factory mygig radio, this is exactly what I used. Works like a champ!

Here's the manufacturer's info. for the Pac C2a-chy23. It even has a remote turn-on wire for your amp.

Just get an Amp with a hi/low input switch and you will be good to go. That is what I did.

I currently have the 130 media center w/Uconnect and am wanting to upgrade to the 430N. Will that unit be plug and play or do I need a flash and/or alternate 'antenna' for the GPS/NAV?

I already have the amp and sub that was in my old truck. so it would be a waste to just buy a new amp.

Default Amp newbie

I have upgraded the speakers in my truck and now I want an amp to power the 4 door speakers.I have the basic 130 stereo system. I have no clue where to start as as as the proper amp to power these speakers. From what I have read I obviously need a 4 channel amp to power the four speakers, but past that I have no clue. I am going after sound quality and not just loud. I want something that sounds clean and clear at half volume. I upgraded the stock speakers with Pioneer 3 ways in the front doors, 5 ways in the rear doors and 3.5 Pioneers in the front dash. I wanted to amp the 4 door speakers and and leave the dash speakers alone. What do you suggest?
Thanks in advance.

Which model speakers did you put in and are you running them off of a stock head unit?
