I need some subwoofer help. I am running one 10 inch kicker CVR with a Kenwood amp through my stock radio. Everything works except when I lower my radio volume or raise it, the sub volume stays the same. Anyone know how I can fix it where my subs volume will raise and lower with my radio?

OK I have a couple questions, I already upgraded my head unit to a Pioneer AVH-P8400BH. First issue I have is that the stock Sirius/XM Satellite isn't working. I'm using the PAC C2R-CHY4 wiring harness, but something isn't working properly. Also, wanting to upgrade the stock sub and have no idea what I'm getting into. Obviously I'll have to pull out the old Amp and sub, but I'm wanting advice on a new set up. I'm looking into doing 2 12" JL Audio 12TW3's (or similar) but I don't know what I'm looking for as far as a proper Amp to power them and the required wiring (possible battery upgrade) that I'll need to do.

Also later on down the road I'm wanting to do a custom enclosure involving the center console to house 1 8" Sub (Kicker CVR84) and want to know what I'll need to run that as well when I add it to the rest of the system I know it's a lot but everyone's help is greatly appreciated

I recently got a 2009 ram quad cab with the regular sound system. I'm wondering if it is possible to mount the tweeters from aftermarket component speakers in the dash speaker spots or if there is a bracket available that would allow me to do this so that I wouldn't have to mount them somewhere else? Also, I have a Kicker CVR 12 that was in my previous vehicle. Do you know if there is a custom encloser for under the back seats that would hold this or if the sub is too big to fit under there?

I was wondering if this setup would work, I've heard mixed opinions on the mounting depth and amount of airspace! any help is appreciated!

As for mounting tweeters I don't know if there is a special bracket, as for mounting a 12" sub under the rear seat there are a few options for mounting, look into FoxBox and Attrend for simple set ups

The issue really is the size of the sub vs. the amount of air you're able to move. I've been looking into doing a dual 12" set up using shallow mount P3's or wait for the new JL Audio 12WT3's to be released as they're supposed to be better in confined spaces than regular sized subs. I'll wait for someone else to chime in as well though as I'm just figuring this stuff out lol

my wife has a 2012 Ram 1500 SLT with the low end basic radio Sirius satellite but no uconnect. also she does not have steering wheel controls. i want to upgrade this for her to an aftermarket headunit with Nav/DVD/Sirius. At this time we don't want to change out speakers or add rear video, but those are certainly future projects so i don't want to scrap whatever i do now.

is http://www.crutchfield.com/p_110VM97....html?tp=20212 and http://www.crutchfield.com/p_220SXV2...ner.html?tp=87 the way to go without breakign the bank on this? i know i will have to either get a new bezel or do some trim to make the double DIN radio fit, that is not an issue to me. My problem is i don't want to buy soemthing and then when i go to hook it up find out i need to order X/Y/Z parts and listen to my wife gripe about her radio not working for a few days! Plus i want to be able to stick the stock unit back in should we have problem with the aftermarket later.
