You could either way you wanted really.

If you are wanting more bass the. You will need to remove the old sub and get a new box, sub, amp, and a way to run it with your stock stereo. If your not looking for a lot of bass just a little more I would do a single side box with a 10" sub. It wouldn't be that much.

So I have a question on spacers. I got some pioneer 6x9's that I knew wouldn't fit but the spacers won't either. What spacers for the front 6x9's have you guys used or what speakers would you go with? I'd like to use the factory place, but I'll do what I have to.

piggy backing on the question above.... I want to use the factory spot, and my search had yeilded nothing that will fit right in the factory spot. I guess I'm just being lazy but I want something that I can swap out quickly. My stock ones are shot and sound like shiznit.

Why did you get 6x9's if you knew they weren't going to fit? There's nothing wrong with the front sized speakers because you also have them in the dash. if you're looking for more bass response you need to upgrade the factory sub, it does a decent job but a single 10" provides a much better sound. If you are looking for better highs and mids consider replacing the Head Unit, I replaced the stock Alpine with a Double Din pioneer with a highly adjustable EQ.
As far as making them fit with an adapter I haven't come across one that fits propery, you could always just make the opening bigger yourself which means a bit of cutting and drilling

Default Kicker 10" cvt question

I have a 09 trx4 crew cab & was wondering can I put in 2 kicker 10"cvt with a atrend box or pro box under the seat. Or do i have to go with the kicker 10" cvr shallow mount? If you recommend other boxes I'm open to your opinion.

Hey guys I have a 2010 Laramie with the alpine 8" sub under the back seat, I'm wanting to replace it with a 12 or keep it and put a 12 alOng side it in the storage bin on the other side, my question is can I keep the stock alpine amp to run both the 8 and the 12 or just the 12

I think you're better off just running the single 12. When you get the 12 you'll need another Amp anyhow and the 12 will just over power any sound you'll get from the small 8
