I work at a good year dealer, we sell lots of these tires the majority of people are very surprised at the ride and grip of these tires!!! my dad is not much of an aggressive tire guy anymore, put these on and said he could climb a wall of ice with these tires in the snow, so they must perform pretty well!!

Nice purchase, great for those that don't want the aggresive looking tire

I never got stuck running these tires and I've pushed through 24"-30" snow drifts for 100+ meters or so. I'm buying the same for my Ram for winter.

Good to know. I am looking forward to testing these out.

So do you have an update on the performance of the tires?

I will review the following:
Tread life
Road noise
Snow
Ice
Mud
Trail

I will not review them until I have driven at least 10k on them.

I will post pics of the tire on the truck in each of the conditions listed above and rate on a scale of 1-5. Five being the best. If anyone is interested check back in December and I should have finished the review by then......and yes I will have put that many miles on the truck! YIKES!
It is now December 22nd. Looking forward to the review.

I ran these tires for 6 years on my dakota that I just sold. I had over 50 thousand on them and just ran them in the mountains last fall. had it in 2 wheel drive to over 9000 feet on nasty mountain roads. Love them! My only gripe is the tame look, but I think one can get over it real quick with the way they perform.

I had these tires on my 2010. Believe it or not, even though they look tame, they are great tires. I've ran in snow up to the frame and didn't have any problems. I pulled other trucks out of deep snow and the tires gripped just fine. I will probably think real hard about putting them on my power wagon when I need to change tires since they performed so well for me in the past.

I am going to replace the Goodyear Wrangler H/P that came with my Ram. I want to get the stock size of 275/60/20. I have done TONS of research and have just about settled on the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor with Dupont Kevlar....but am surprised that no one has mentioned running them in here. I have found several threads in other forums praising this tire, but they have all been run on much smaller vehicles.

Has anyone used this tire? If so what was the experience?

I will use the tire to drive 80% highway and 20% off road.

Anyone here swear by another tire?

I would appreciate any feedback, but I am especially interested in the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor.

I had these tires on my Dakota they kicked ass. Great all weather tires and performed perfect in the snow!
