Next on my list is exhaust, and I have not been able to make a decision yet. I currently am running the original dual exhaust, chrome tipped straight out the rear and am looking to put a little rumble in my ride. This is where I am looking for help.
I am looking for a a nice deep rumble during idle with a definite roar when I put my foot on the gas.
I don't want to shake the birds out of the trees and must be decibel respectful as my kids (older than 7, younger than 12) will be riding in the back and the most critical observer of all (my lovely wife) will be in the passenger seat, so for the sake of my marriage I still need to hear her speak over the sound of the exhaust! You all know what I am talking about...
Do I need to replace the whole exhaust, or just the muffler? What kind? Any other good info? Any other mods to help me out?
Thanks! Can't wait for the responses!
